Chris Krishna-Pillay has featured in Australia's science communication and performance scene for many years. His writing and performing credits include, Howard Florey - a Tale of Tall Poppies, Somnium, Pre-Coital, Dante's Laboratory, L'Abdomnne and Ologism.

Chris’ energetic presence, quick wit and engaging demeanour have made him a much sought after performer and Master of Ceremonies. He is frequently called upon as a speaker and has been MC for countless events from orchestral concerts to corporate award presentations.

Corporate engagements have been with BHP Billiton, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute For Medical Research, Carlton Connect Initiative, Victorian Platform Technologies Network, Science in Public, Melbourne Writers Festival and CSIRO.

Chris has performed across Australia, as well as in the UK, New Zealandand Japan. He has experience in television, drama, musicals, stand-up comedy and radio (an extensive listing of performances is available on request).

Chris has appeared on television on Outrageous Acts of Science (a.k.a. You Have Been Warned)Today, Scope and Totally Wild. He was science consultant for children’s television series Wicked Science and is also a regular presenter on popular radio program Einstein A Go Go (Triple R radio).

Chris has worked for CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Australia’s national science and technology organisation) for more than 25 years. Chris has presented at education and performance conferences across Australia, as well as in the UK, the US, South Africa and New Zealand.
